Privacy Policy
Last updated:
Defusion Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our games and website collect, process, and use your personal data, and the rights you may exercise regarding your personal data.
1. Data We Collect
- Sign-in data: the identifier and email address of the Google account you use to sign in to the game.
- Game data: team name, players (fictional characters generated by the game, including their ratings and year-by-year statistics), lineup, training, and record.
- Gameplay logs: when you open the game, the actions you take in the game, and the in-game resources you obtain and use.
- Error logs: when an error occurs in the game, the error message, the screen you were on, your device model, operating system version, and game version.
- Push notification identifier (if you allow notifications).
- Your device’s language and time zone settings.
- Connection logs: the IP address and time when your device connects to our servers.
- Website browsing data: through Cloudflare’s web analytics service, we record the pages viewed, the referring URL, the browser type, and the country or region. This service does not use cookies and cannot identify you.
- Contact data: the email address and message content you provide when you email us.
- Closed test sign-up data: the email address you enter when signing up on our website for the closed test of our game, together with the time of sign-up and the language of the sign-up page.
2. Purposes of Collection
We collect the data above for the following purposes:
- To provide sign-in and save your game progress, so that when you sign in with the same Google account on another device, you can continue with your existing team.
- To run games, organize leagues, and allow players in the same league to view one another’s teams and records.
- To display game content and send game start notifications based on your device’s language and time zone.
- To verify your identity; for example, when you request account deletion by email, we match your game account with the Google account you emailed from.
- To detect errors and abuse, such as inappropriate team names and cheating.
- To analyze overall game data and how individual accounts play, in order to adjust game balance and improve the game.
- To reply to your messages.
- To compile statistics on website traffic.
- To run the closed test: to register the email address you signed up with as a tester on Google Play, and to send you, in the language of the sign-up page, the closed test invitation, important notices during the closed test, and a notice when the game officially launches.
3. Public Information
Your team name, team record, and player records will be displayed in the game for other players to view (for example, players in the same league), and may also be displayed on our website (for example, on leaderboards and in a hall of fame). Leaderboards and the hall of fame display only your team name, not your Google account information.
Because team names are public, please do not use your real name or any other personal data as your team name.
4. Data Storage and Disclosure
We use the following service providers to store and process your data:
- Google: game servers and database (Google Cloud, in a data center located in Changhua, Taiwan), push notifications (Firebase), sign-in (Google account), the closed test tester list (Google Play), and our email inbox.
- Cloudflare: website hosting, website analytics, storage of closed test sign-up data, and email forwarding for support@defusionstudio.com.
- Brevo: sending emails related to the closed test, and the replies we send from support@defusionstudio.com.
The game database is located in Taiwan; the other services operate data centers around the world, so your data may be processed outside Taiwan. For how these service providers handle data, please refer to the privacy policies of Google, Cloudflare, and Brevo.
Except for the service providers above, we do not provide your personal data to any third party: we do not sell personal data, and our games contain no advertising and include no third-party analytics tools. However, this does not apply where disclosure is required by law or requested by judicial authorities in accordance with the law.
5. Data Security
- Connections between the game and our servers, as well as website browsing, are all encrypted.
- Only we have access to our servers and database, and two-step verification is enabled on all administrative accounts.
6. Data Retention
- Account and game data: retained for as long as your account exists. If you stop playing without deleting your account, we will not delete it on our own initiative.
- Account deletion requests: your data is completely deleted within 30 days, including backups. For how to make a request, please see the Delete Account page.
- Connection logs: automatically deleted after about 30 days.
- Gameplay logs: automatically deleted after 1 year.
- Error logs: automatically deleted after 90 days.
- Messages you send us: retained as a record of our correspondence.
- Data from the closed testing period: all deleted when the game officially launches.
- Closed test sign-up data: all deleted once the game officially launches and the launch notice has been sent. If you no longer wish to receive emails from us, please email support@defusionstudio.com from the address you signed up with, and we will delete your sign-up data.
- When a game ends its service: all data is deleted.
Aggregated statistics that cannot identify any specific individual (for example, the number of players each day) may continue to be retained.
7. Your Rights
Under Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act, you may exercise the following rights regarding your personal data:
- To make inquiries about or request to review your data
- To request a copy
- To request supplementation or correction
- To request that we stop collecting, processing, or using your data
- To request deletion
To make a request, please email support@defusionstudio.com. We will first verify your identity; for example, we may ask you to email us from the Google account you use to sign in to the game and include your team name. You may also delete your account as described on the Delete Account page.
8. Consequences of Not Providing Data
The game is an online game and requires signing in with a Google account. Sign-in data, game data, gameplay logs, error logs, connection logs, and your device’s language and time zone are necessary to provide the service; without them, you will not be able to use the game. The following are up to you:
- Not allowing notifications: you can still play, but you will not receive game start notifications.
- Not signing up for the closed test: you cannot take part in the closed test, but this does not affect playing the game after its official launch.
9. Age Requirement
Our games and website are intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you become aware that someone under 18 has provided us with personal data, please let us know by email, and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
When we revise this Privacy Policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above; we will announce material changes in the game.

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or your personal data, please email support@defusionstudio.com.
